In Life we don’t want to be spectators, we want to be like the prophet Isaiah who was willing. When God was looking for someone to be a voice to the people Isaiah said, “Here I am Lord, send me!” You don’t want to be the type of person on the sideline just watching life go by waiting for the next person to step up. When God calls you, when he has an assignment, when it’s time to step up to the plate, be the type of person to say, “here I am.”

Pastor D teaches on the importance of forgiveness. “Bitterness kicks in when you hold onto unforgiveness too long!” The longer we hold onto a grudge the longer it can take us to forgive someone. Forgiveness isn’t necessarily for the person, but it is to make sure that you and your relationship with God is good. We have to be careful holding onto unforgiveness because we may get to the point when we start judging and deciding who deserves God’s mercy and grace. In Mark 11:25 it says we must forgive, so that God can forgive us. The most important thing we can do is keep our relationship with God right by forgiving and letting go of all bitterness.

No one enjoys or wants to go through a storm in life, but going through a storm gives you the power to endure all things. (James 1:2 – 4) In a storm you learn how to be a steady person during unsteady times. You learn how to be a solid person even when the circumstances are rough.
