PUSH
Our PUSH team is our intercessory prayer team, which stands for Pray Until Something Happens. This group intercedes on behalf of the needs of the ministry and others. In James 5:16 the Bible says, “…pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” We believe in the power of prayer because of the authority Jesus gave us when He died on the cross and rose from the dead. In John 14:14 Jesus says, “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” As the name of the team suggests, we pray believing things will happen.
There is a special time set aside each Monday at 7 PM PST for GAP (Go and Pray) where the PUSH team comes together on our conference call line to pray. This meeting is open for anyone to join. Along with Monday Night GAP, the PUSH team has weekly private times of prayer to continue to uplift those requests. There are several options to send the PUSH team a prayer request. One, if you have the New Life Christian Fellowship – IE app downloaded, there is a section to send a prayer request to a PUSH team member. From the home page, click “connect” and then “prayer wall” to text a PUSH team member. In addition to the app, prayer requests can be sent to our church email address: christianfellowshipnewlife@gmail.com. Lastly, prayer requests can be sent through private messages on our social media pages such as Facebook and Instagram.
