New Song
New Song is the name of the praise and worship ministry given by God to Pastor Dominic in 2020. New Song leads the people and ushers in the presence of God. All throughout Psalms, the book speaks of singing praises to God. “I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High” (Psalms 7:17). “I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works” (Psalms 9:1). “Be exalted, O Lord, in Your own strength! We will sing and praise Your power” (Psalms 21:13). The frequency in which praise is mentioned in the book of Psalms mirrors the frequency in which we are to praise God in our individual lives.
Praise and worship is not just a portion of the service, it is a lifestyle. In order to lead the people in praise and worship to God it has to be done with the right attitude. New Song uses their gifts to exalt God through the ministry of music. The only one who should get any glory and praises during praise and worship is the Lord. He expects and deserves genuine worship and not just a show. In John 4:23 the Bible says, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” God is “seeking our worship” so Pastor Dominic has given a charge to the members of New Life to never hold back praise and worship from God.
