Meet Pastor Dominic and First Lady Jennifer Woods

Pastor Dominic and First Lady Jennifer Woods are a dynamic and inspiring couple. Pastor Dominic's encouraging and motivational teachings show people how to win. Pastor Dominic and First Lady Jennifer were active and fully committed members at Destiny Christian Center in Victorville, California under Bishop Jesse and Pastor Halene Giddens. Pastor Dominic and First Lady Jennifer have celebrated 25 years of successful marriage and are blessed by five beautiful children: Dominic, Jr., Joshua, Jordan, Jayden, and Jenaiya.

Our Founders

Meet Dr. John and Willa Woods

During the thirty-five years as pastors and forty years in the ministry, our founders imparted strong biblical teachings to many in the Body of Christ throughout the United States and all around the world. Pastor John and Willa Woods served on the Jerry Savelle Ministries International Board of Directors for over 14 years in addition to serving on Dr. Frederick K.C. Price’s Board of directors, Fellowship of Inner City of Word of Faith Ministry for six years. Dr. Woods also served as a faculty member for the following Bible schools and seminaries: American Baptist Seminary, Bethel Bible School, Life Changing Ministry Training Center, Echoes of Faith Bible School and Crenshaw Christian Center School of Ministry.

History of New Life Christian Fellowship

November of 1982

Dr. John and Willa Woods received the vision from God for Praise Christian Center, (formerly know as Pomona Valley Praise Temple). The members of Praise Christian Center substantially benefited from Pastor John and Willa Woods teachings and illustrated a “Christ – like” lifestyle. Dr. Woods ordained over nineteen ministers and pastors who also consider him to be their spiritual father and pastor.

November of 1982

Spring of 1983

Praise Christian Center moved to 1395 W. Mission Blvd. in Pomona, California. The vision God had given was “To Develop The Christian Family: to BUILD, to STRENGTHEN and to RESTORE”. As a result, it produced powerful families in the ministry. Families at Pomona Valley Praise Temple were role models to many others.

Spring of 1983

Pastor Dominic and First Lady Jennifer took the official role as pastors of Praise Christian Center when his parents, Dr. John and Willa Woods, retired as pastors. In their new role as pastors, they have built upon the solid foundation of Praise Christian Center as leaders inspiring many to pursue Christ.

March 27, 2016

Praise Christian Center changed it’s name to New Life Christian Fellowhip. The new name carries a new direction and energy that takes the ministry to the next level.
